So I took yesterday's doodle and pulled it into Photoshop CS6 that I'm testing, and with my new Bamboo change it to what you see at the right.
There are a lot of things I didn't figure out, but feel like it was a pretty good test.
Greeting Cards - One Guy Drawing
for comics I started using Manga Studio 5(currently on pre-release for $79.)
ReplyDeleteIf you're looking for software geared towards the comic process, you might check that out. Its tools are more callibrated for simulating "inking" and it has pre-set pen sizes that match up with real world pens, so you can insure that you maintain consistency.
Not to mention it responds to stylus pressure "out of the box" without having to figure out Photoshop's settings.
And if you still need to use Photoshop it can export PSDs.
I don't have any comics I've done with it up yet, but here's a sketch I did a few days ago that I posted on Tumblr.

Thanks for the idea. It appeals to my cheap side. I've even heard that PS CS2 can be download free from Adobe now. So your idea with that opportunity and set to go.
